I’m new to the forum and just wanted to introduce myself. I’m interested in building an AR or two plus stock up on some stripped lowers before November. Like any consumer should, I’m doing my homework before I make any purchases and I look forward to utilizing the plethora of information available on these boards.

awesome! and welcome! Allthough popular opinion on this sight seems to agree that stocking up on stripped lowers will be a waste.

Oh really, why is that?  If they become banned won't they be impossible to get?

I think that it is a good idea to have some extra handy. Right now they are not that expensive and who knows what the future holds. Get a couple if you have the extra cash.

Welcome!!! You need to watch out for that damn BRD (Black Rifle Disease)!!!!  If you build 1 AR it will turn into 2 AR's which turns into 4 AR's which turns into 8 AR's and before you know it your credit cards are all taped out, your wife thinks you have lost your marbles, and you can't sleep at night because of the anticipation of the next new MAGPUL product you just have to have as soon as it is released (which probably won't be any time soon). So don't blame us for not warning you ahead of time!!!!!!   Now I'm going to go pace back and forth until MAGPUL ships my lower receiver!!!
