Hi, I'm relatively new to ar's and I'm looking to purchase my first one.  RRA elite car-4 has really caught my eye.  Also, a local armory told me they can build me one for about the same price using these specs:

                                       Barrel   1:7 twist C/L
Bolt HD full auto rated with

                               HD extractor, pressure

                                Tested and MPI
                                Upper/Lower Mega Machine Co
                                Handguard Standard
                                Buttstock 6-position
                                Pistol Grip Ergo Tactical Delux

The armory says that their build will at least meet if not exceed RRA's elite car-4 in every way except for the handguard and buttstock.  I was looking for some insight into my query.  Also what is the general consensus on Mega Machine Co parts?  Thanks.
Edit: I'm looking to spend around $1,000.00

Mega's good stuff. Whose barrel will they be using?

Are they going to back it with a warranty like RRA?

+1 on mega

and i agree with the warranty.  any time someone builds it for you its a good idea to have some sort of guarantee just in case things dont function as they should.  getting it in writing doesnt hurt.

All depends on who is putting together and what barrel, BCG, LPK and Trigger they are using.

ETA:  For a small bit more than 1K you can get an LMT upper and lower.

The Mega stuff looks great, but it is exactly the same as any other upper or lower. The guts of the lower, especially the fire control group, is somewhat important.  If they're telling you the truth about the BCG, it's definitely an upgrade.  RRA Barrels are pretty good, so find out who's barrel they'll be using.

Actually sounds really good so far, but assembly matters a lot more than you think.  Who's the Armory?  Maybe someone here knows them.

Thus far that's all the information they gave me via email.  AdTek is the name of the armory, if someone has some experience with them let me know.  I appreciate all the responses.
