Armalite is good to go. My first AR was an Eagle Arms build.

Armalite makes outstanding rifles and thus, their parts are equally superior to many other manufacturer's parts!!!!!!!!!!!!

thanks for the great comments.  We appreciate your opinions.

Frontrunner?  Take a good look at the product line... there's nobody out there covering the market with high end rifles like ArmaLite, from 5.56 to .50.  And don't forget the pistols.

I know I'm one of those picky gun owners but my Armalite upper and lower are have a lot of scuffs and scratches under the anadizing, meaning it was there at the factory. Also the upper and lower fit together kind of lose with a little slop. I know the rifle will still go bang and operate flawelessly but they don't seem to care about fit and finish as much as RRA (which I'm use to).

That's not been my experience.  Best fit and finish on any of my ARs was my M15A2.

My first AR was an Armalite middy.  Top flippin' notch rifle and I've been buying a load of their parts for some new builds.  Buy with confidence.  Besides, their rollmark is badass.

Because they don't sell junk and nothing bad can be said.

...just as others have said, if it's not an Armalite, it's just a copy!

The Armalite of today is good quality.

Just remember, though, it is NOT the original "Armalite," which was a division of Fairchild Aircraft, and folded back around 1960.

"AR" stands for "Armalite Rifle," not "Armalite."

The only company that can legally use the "AR-15" name today is Colt, because it purchased the original trademark rights when Fairchild divested itself of the old, original Armalite.  The term "AR-15" is used generically to describe the whole breed, but legally, only a Colt is an actual "AR-15."

That's why all the other makers out there have to call their weapons something else besides an "AR-15" (example, RRA uses "LAR-15," etc).
