[ARCHIVED THREAD] - AR15 kit question

My sons B-day is coming up and I would love to get him an AR kit to build with him. I still need to sell this Idea to Mother Bear and knowing her $ will be a factor. I already have a stripped Lower that I would give him. What I am wondering is WHERE and WITCH kit would be the cheapest? Any advice would be great. Thanks Dan

i went through del-ton and got the light weight kit for my G/F....they are good people to work with...

+1 on Del-Ton. I built a lightweight kit as well, and it runs great. Great folks to work with, answered all my questions, and kit arrived in one week even though they told me they were running a little behind.

J&T has really nice lightwieght kit also, great quality kits that will last for years to come with proper upkeep
