I have a Bushy O.R.C. with a milled gasblock. My question is will a YHM Free Float Forearm
YHM-9631 and End Cap YHM-9484-A work with this gun?
Can someone Explain what is meant by Milled gas Block.
I don't get the firearm from UPS until Wedesday so I can't really see it yet in person.
and is there any other Front Iron sight flips ups for it, besides the bushy V sight YHM-9360K?

This is my First AR so I am very new to them.

Yes, but it will take some work.

It means they cut off the front sight portion of a front sight base, used a mill to clean it up a bit (make it smooth/lower profile).

There are rail mounted front sights (fixed & flip up) that will mount on your FF rail.

For that system you will need to remove the barrel AND the gas block (which is held in by taper pins - those can be a real bear).

Well now I am wondering if I have to take the Milled gas Block off anyway. Can I not put it back on and get a Sight with a Block on it.Like YHM's Barrel mounted Flip sight?
Like this one (Example)

Or should I just get a 2 piece Forearm to fix the pain in the ass problem LOL?

If it's a stock ORC you should be able to remove the handguards and put on a Daniel Defense Omega or a Vltor. If you remove the delta ring assemble you could use a two piece like a troy or midwest industries etc. You can cut the delta ring off with a dremel or remove the barrel.

The sit pins on bushmasters are supposed to be a pain to get off. I have never tried it. Adco could remove it and put whatever front sight you want on.

Never knew Daniel Defense was here in town. LOL
Like 5 mins from my house.

Anyone have a round about price that a gun smith would charge for this?
Let him have the pain in the ass problems.

Should not get a free float?
Whats some Pros and Cons?

Ok So I have been looking at Non Free floating.

Would you go YHM quad rail or MI#17?
Both are two piece so worry about taking the barrel off or Delta Ring.
Both have gotten good reviews on the sights I have seen.
