I grew up shooting Colt ARs, so I guess it goes to figure that I would like to purchase one for myself now that I have the time and money.

I was just wondering if there are any Colt Models being produced today without the sear block/forged web and using the standard 0.154" pins instead of the silly 0.170" pins....?

I am pretty disappointed that Colt went PC with their rifles in recent years.  I was thinking that some of the LEO rifles might still be "not PC", but I can't seem to find any specific info on the AR 6721 made by Colt Defense.

The current production 6721 has standard takedown/pivot pin holes and .170 FCG pin holes.

The RO977 is pretty nice and fits the bill.  Getting one requires its fair share of paperwork though.

Colt makes plenty of non-PC models, they just don't deign to sell them to peons like you and me.

Since Colt is now using standard takedown pins, and since the 0.170" action pins/parts are readily available, why worry about it?

The 6920 has standard takedown pin, bayonet lug, FA carrier, doesn't sound too PC to me!

Ahhh. A Colt owner with a sense of humor. Now THAT I like.
