Alright, i just gave in and got a Chrome BCG (not the bolt, just the carrier).  I've never had one before, do i lube it just as much as before?  I also ran some silver bear through it and it was a pain to clean with Rem Oil (only thing i had available and i didn't want to wait to clean it) is there a trick to cleaning it?  Any tips or info you have would be great, thanks!

Clean as normal and you should get good use out of it.

Two things I use are Breakfree CLP & Powder Blast.

I lube my CHROME carrier with CLP by hand.  I used to spray it down with CLP in the can.  But that's way too much and damn excessive.

After the shoot I remove the bolt and spray the carrier down with Birchwood Casey GUN SCRUBBER.  The formula that's safe for plastic.  It cleans all the shit clean off and leaves the carrier bone dry until the next shoot.

Lube the same as before.  Most of the crap on mine can be wiped off with a rag, very quick and easy.  Anything more stubborn is taken off with a small brush or q-tip and a little solvent.
