Hello Everyone, I'm new to this post. I have a question about a preban Colt AR-15 I want to buy. I noticed that the upper and lower receiver on the gun don't line up exactly. Is this a common finding on the Colt AR15's? I'll try and attach a photo...

Looks as good as any Colt's going to look.

I bought a new sp1 in 1973 and it looked just like yours. Hope you enjoy yours as I have mine.

Or Rock River--or Stag--or most other brands. Alignment at that point is prely a hit or miss proposition. I've seen them a hell of a lot worse than that

And worrying about that little of a misalignment is a sign of a truly diseased mind.

( just kidding)
