How many rounds have you ever put through your AR during one range visit? I own an AC556 so I know that you can really tear through brass with a selector switch, but I'm just interested in semi usage. Thanks.

When I go I usually go through 1k.
with cost up so high now a days I only bring out 500.

60 rounds of guat last weekend.Made me happy and sad at the same time.

Usually 100 at a time. I normally have a couple of .30 cals with me also and run about the same through each of them.

Typical range day for me will see the use of two rifles and 200-300 rounds, although there are occasional 1000+ round days, usually involving more guns.

In one day? Probably around 800.

edit that was at a carbine class.
Just blasting? I'm not sure. When ammo was cheaper I used to go through case after case of Wolf, guat and South African. We would also shoot pistols so I am guessing 500 rounds would not be unusual.
