smoother operation causing less wear and tear on parts, some say less felt recoil, i can't tell the difference, hell the ar15 platform already has very little recoil IMO, also has a longer sight radius

I've got both and both works fine but I prefer shooting my midlength gas system more because it feels smoother. I run both mine with M16 BCG but with the carbine gas system I use extra power extractor spring and H buffer while my midlength I use the standard extractor spring with O-ring also just the standard carbine buffer. |
