Where can I find a reasonably priced tool kit that will allow me to perform any build/repair work on an AR15?  I found one on Brownells that they want over a grand for (way too much).

Also, what tools are a must have?

Armorer's wrench-approx. $30, snap ring pliers-less than $10 and a punch brass punch set-approx. $10 at harbor freight, vice grip, medium size, not needle nose-$10-15. That is all I used and everything went together in less than an hour with not scars on my first build!!!

What about a bolt assembly tool and a MOACKS?  I've heard good things about both of those items.

Thanks

I forgot about the vice block and vice....I had to use these too....my pistol grip screw is flat head which is pretty common. I didn't torque mine so I didn't need that.
