What can you do to make a standard trigger group a better besides a new trigger? I would like to make a shorter and more crisp trigger pull.

=I know they sell a spring set to help minimize trigger pull, but not sure you can buy separate components that will take away that infamous trigger "creep" and "over-travel".

My 15T had a factory trigger that had awful creep. I purchase a Timney 4# drop in trigger assembly that improved trigger pull/release tremendously. It also solved  my creep problem.

Here's a short video of my Timney after installation. Check it out as it may be the type of trigger action you're looking for.

Edit: Tried to download the video clip but never got the link to work.

Sorry.

Way out of my element here but I did read, a short time ago, that polishing the parts (breaking sharp edeges and such) made quite a difference.

Has anyone else experienced the long trigger creep?

I have 2 facotry triggers done by the guy on EE. I think is was $25 a several years ago.

I know he still does the trigger service but I think the $$ is higher.

Do you have to ship the whole lower or just the trigger group?

I stone, polish, and shave the bottom of the hammer on my triggers. Makes them crisp & smooth. It took some time to get the method down though.
