| Now that Bushmaster and DPMS are both owned by the same company what changes do we expect to see. |
|
The only change is that they are now owned by Corporate Amerika. The Conglomerate. I was a dedicated Bushmaster product fan. I still think right now that their products are top notch, better than LMT, SORRY, I had to say that to be a Scott But stuff goes to crap normally when stuff like this happens. One company with several under the belt. This equals no competition. So now Bushie , Remy and DPMS are not in competition anymore. Now I dont know much about Ceberus right now but when a company goes to the big boys, it becomes more about money than quality. That is just the way it is. I own 4 bushies but they are the last I will buy. Hmmm maybe I will be buying LMT or CMMG next, I dont know. Now in my Forest Gumpish voice I say " That is all I have to say about that.". |
| It feels much more solid than either bushies and it shoots reliably even when it shouldn't. Both my bushmasters would short cycle or encounter various other difficulties if the lubricant ran thin but the DPMS just keeps throwing led down range. I even cleaned all the oil off just to see what it would do and fired 60 rnds flawlessly. I'm not saying bushmaster doesnt put out a decent product I just prefer my DPMS over the other brand. As i mentioned before it has a solid feel to it. The upper and lower reciever have a tighter fit and the finish is much nicer. Until I owned my Panther I was a bushmaster fan but I found a better product and I'm really happy with it. Not once have I had a feed, fire, or function issue with it unlike my previous two AR's. If the chips were on the table I know I could trust my Panther to do what it was designed to do. |
