OK!  I have my Bushmaster M4A3 (16") have
1. MagPul MIAD Grip (full kit)with the enlarged trigger guard.
2. MagPul magazines.
3. Bushmaster Picatinny Rail Adapter for the barrel.
4. Samco 1" Tactical Light Mount (for a SureFire 6P).
5. Bushmaster Rubber Telestock Butt Pad.
6. Cheekpiece for the Telestock.
7. Accu-Wedge (to eliminate play between the upper and lower receivers).
8. Bushmaster Titanium firing pin .
9. Gear Sector ASP Sling and Sling Adapter.

I want to keep the stock handguards pretty much "as is" (the barrel rail adapter gives me sufficient room for the flashlight attachment and a bi-pod).  Money is an issue so what would the folks here at this site suggest adding next for the most "bang for the buck" (no pun intended)?

Thanks for any input you might have - it is appreciated!

Cheers.

Ammo and range time.

And the piece sounds sweet!

Pics!

ETA- One suggestion: stick to the stock firing pin.

Thanks for all the input.

I do have GI mags, but want to add more of the regular mags, MagPul mags, and the LaRue mags.  Hoping to get a minimum of 10 of each, then work from there based on which of these mag types has proven most reliable with my weapon.

Definitely am shooting this rifle.  It is primarily a "ranch rifle" that I carry with me when at my place in the country.  I am not sure if the Titanium firing pin makes that much difference (Bushmaster advertises that it is supposed to allow for faster lock time and greater accuracy; increases safety by reducing the possibility of a "slam fire").  Of course I still have the stock firing pin so I can switch back and forth until I see any real benefit one way or the other.

Has anyone had any positive results with the Enidine Hydraulic Buffer?  Kind of pricy at $89.95 for the carbine model.

Next on my list I guess will be to remove the carrying handle and install a different rear sight.  Any suggestions on a good one to work with the stock front sight?

Thanks again for sharing the wealth of information here.  It is appeciated.

Go to www.bravocompanyusa.com/ or www.del-ton.com/ and look at all of the back up iron sights. You need to decide if you want fixed or folding, depending on what you think you would like/what kinda optics you might want. If you decide on a fixed rear sight, Larue makes a pretty bad ass one too.

Also, it's never to early to start thinking of your next rifle.

Added note - I wasn't as pleased with the ASP "single point" sling so I purchased a Viking Tactical  Sling("2-point" connection).  I like the latter much better.  Easy to adjust for length (make it longer for prone firing or shorter for carry or point shooting).  Easier for moving the weapon from side-to-side or to the back, etc.

Yes - I believe my next purchase will be a good rear iron sight.  Once that has been purchased I will remove the carrying handle for good.  Then its on to some good "OPTICS!"
