Recently I purchased the PRI MSTN QC Brake for a build I am doing. Can I assume that the position shown in the photo is the proper position when mounted on my rifle only with a slight cant to the right for better viewing? Additionally is comes with multiple thin(very very thin) shim type washers, what is the deal with those if anyone knows? (I think I do but want to be surehad
Thanks in advance for any help,
                                                                 Gary

Yes, the three little holes go up. The shims are so you can time it to position correctly as your threads may not be cut the same as the next guys. I believe this is your answer, but you might want to wait for a few others to answer first.

+1. The shims are for timing/"clocking" the brake.

Just be apprised that your new brake will probably not make you much loved on the firing line, especially on roofed ranges...
But you probably already knew that.  Enjoy.
