I took was looking for a new upper for my Armalite M15A2 HBAR. Mine has the carry handle on it and a small Leupold 2X7 Scope and shoots around 3/4 inch groups at 100yards on a good day with proper ammo. I mainly shoot the Speer TNT 50 gr. since they are flat based bullets. I noticed that with the muzzle brake , which is a true muzzle brake the groups open up with boat tail bullets. Some of the experts on this forum suggested the brake could be causing a slight upset in the boat tails when exiting the barrel. Weather this true or not I do not know but do know I am getting tighter groups with the flat base bullet. Now here is the lates news. I decided to stay with Armalite. Mine has been so reliable and well built with no problems i could just not see changing up. In October I ordered through Armalite a new M15A4T flat top upper. It is supposed to be shipped this month (Jan 08).This is a hand lapped barrel in 24" lenght , stainless steel and by the tests i have seen very accurate. Hope this helps in your search. I know there are many good brands out there. We just can't shoot them all and I went with what knowledge  I had from using the M15A2 HBAR for the past 7 years.
