What is the biggest, longest, best scope I can put on a 16" carbine?

I have put a simmons 8 point scope on mine with a few inches between the scope and the front sight. we need more info. do you have a flat top, high rise, carry handle with rail, what diameter scope are you looking for?

Yes flat top and 50mm 6-24x

a 50mm Might fit, I think you will need a riser or high rise scope mounts.
as far as your front sight, get your objective lens closer than about 4 inches and its a dark area at the bottom of a 3 power scope.
