Pat's LMT project that is tagged on this forum inspired me to spend some money on my LE6920 -

Major parts added:

DD Omega 7.0 FF rail
LaRue SPR-M4 Scope 30mm mount
MI  same plane BUIS
LMT SOPMOD

The scope is an older Titan 30mm 1.5-6x Japanese scope w/A4 Ret. A true close up both eyes open shooter, or cranked up to 6x for longer shots -

More parts to be added.  I'll report back later on how it shoots besides bang, bang, bang!

Here's the Colt LE 6920 doing some range time - I had some older Winchester 50 pack of 55 gr. 223 to burn through this set up. It produced some 3.5 inch 20 round groups at 100 yards, nothing to brag about, but for plinking ammo it wasn't bad. All & all the money I spent on the parts was well worth the dollars.

Nice.  I like your scope too.  Do they still make them?

Looks good to me.

I'm also using Winchester 55 gr ammo for plinking, not bad for plinking ammo.

Is that snow on the range, how cold was it there?

The scope............I wish they did, because it was built by the same Japanese firm that makes the "Super Sniper" scope. It's one of the best value scope out there IMO......I've got 3 of 1.5-6x and one of the 3-12x. You can find a used one once in awhile.

Yes, it's snow,  about 25-28 degrees, perfect snow making weather............We are suppose to get  11 inches by tomorrow, yippie!

Great rifle and with better ammo can get better groups.

Thanks - I've got my pet load on my Dillon ready for 69 gr. SMK's  that should be just about right with the 1/7" - I'll post the results later.

I bet you say that to all the fella's!  But honestly, it's not much bigger than Pat's scope - Take a look at the picture in Pat's thread. The front objective makes it rather large, but it's great in low light conditions.
