I picked up a Colt 1in7 556 NATO 20" gov. barrel . This is going out to S.A. to have the M4 feed ramps cut . Now do I go for the cheaper upper and go with CMMG. Or just get the Colt M4 upper for $260.00 from S.A. . By the way I have a Colt M16 BCG for this upper now . Sorry no pics yet .

My issued A4 didn't have M4 feed ramps. Personally, I think they are nice to have, but the M16 line of guns worked fine before them, I wouldn't pay to have them added. Have you considered a CMT upper? I like CMMG, but personally have found a that my 2 CMMG uppers the charging handle slot was a little narrower then the LMT or RRA uppers I have. |
