[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Spectre length?

Besides being a little longer than a midlength, what is it and why is it longer? I tried searching but no joy. Thanks.

It extends just past the (low profile) gas-block. Far enough so that an end cap can be installed.

So thats it? Just to cover the gas block? This is just for carbine gas systems correct?

Yep. Carbine Gas length. Not sure how is covers a rifle or midlenght.
