Hi:  I am new member with a new AR and have some problems with it.  I bought a RRA 9mm with the intermediate handguard and A2 stock.  I like the gun a lot and it shoots very well.  I just cannot get the gun to shoot more than 5 rds without a jam.  Empty brass is not being ejected from the chamber area.  I called the dealer I bought the gun from and they told me that RRA 9mm's need about 500 put thru them before they are broken in.  Is there any truth to this?  Has anyone else had a problem with a RRA 9mm?    Thanks, Rick H.

Mine ran 100% out of the box with Winchester White box and Seller and Bellot.

What ammo are you using?
Also is sounds goofy but did you lube the shit out of it?  That helped mine I am sure.
Using factory mags?

FYI.  I broke 4 bolt catch releases until I got a spacer for my recoil spring and I switched to mags that DO NOT lock the bolt open.

You can avoid this by not letting the bolt lock open by counting your rounds and doing a tactical mag change or by altering your mags to stop them from enabling the BHO device.

YMMV but it was a very frustrating experience for me but since then I have been 100% happy with my RRA 9mm.
Dont let it get you down.

I've had problems with the yellow box Remington UMC.

White box Winchester always runs good.

Here's a easy fix if you're having fte.

The ejector isn't positioned properly.  This is the piece that comes off the mag adapter and rides under the bolt.  Bend the ejector until it touches the upper, inside of the bolt.  This will fix the ejection problem.

Others have said that it is due to a week extractor spring and you should get another extractor spring and that'll fix your problem...  I took the other route and it's worked for me.

ETA:  I'm running a 9mm SMG with a 10.5" RRA A2 upper and hahn dedicated adapter.  I had the FTE also and I found that the brass was ejecting more "up" than "out", which is causing the weapon to jam.  I bent the ejector up so that it contacted the bolt and therefore, contacted the empty case at a higher location...  The ejection problems went right away.
