I bought my AR during the "Ban" period. My lower receiver is "Post-Ban." Now that the AWB has expired, can I legally re-barrel my rifle with a barrel that is threaded for a flash suppressor? I current have a 20" SS bull barrel and am looking for a 16" replacement - preferably also in SS

Any suggestions?

Thanks

is long as your state does not have a ban on those features.

If you're current barrel has a low round count and your state doesn't have any laws restricting it, you could just send your upper to ADCO or AR15Barrels and have your barrel shortened and threaded for a flash suppressor.  Might be a cheaper option because you want your new barrel to also be SS.  Also, if you want a different profile, either company can also re-profile your barrel to.
