[ARCHIVED THREAD] - A2 front sight

I'm about to order a 16" middy kit, and I'm being told that I can't get it without the bayonet lug. I'm in NY, so the bayo lug is an issue.

Would removing the bayonet lug myself be a major problem, and how would I do it.

Dremel tool with a cutting wheel and some cold blue...

10 minutes or less and it will be ban compliant.
