Isn't there a magazine called YHM also? Maybe I'm thinking FHM. Anyway, the original poster is probably referring to Yankee Hill Machine Co. They make some decent rails/sights/gas blocks, etc. Most of their products are quite good, but they're often heavier or offer "less frills" than companies like LaRue or Daniel Defense. Think of it like this, LaRue and DD are like flying first class on the A-380 and YHM is like flying coach on Southwest. You'll still get where you're going and at a price that's substantially less, but you don't get all the nice perks. I use a YHM lightweight carbine rail and I couldn't be happier with it. It's never come loose on me and it holds all my accessories where it's supposed to. MJD |
