for those of you that have actually used or installed one of the chip mccormick or timney drop in triggers,is one better than the other or more durable in your experiance.or any negative experiance with either of them

i bought the timney unit and it wouldn't reset after each shot. i had to push the trigger forward to reset it.

sent it back over a month ago and i'm still waiting.

if i were do do it over again i would probably go elsewhere with my $2oo.

good luck

I put the Timney in this last rifle . Mine had the problem of not resetting after a shot . I did some readjusting and some more shooting with it . It seemed to work itself out and is running good now. It has the shortest reset of any trigger I have ever owned . This can be good and bad. Good if you like tight triggers and bad if you don't have good trigger control . Later I may put this trigger in one of my beater ARs . Then get  another GA for this rifle .

I have a Chip McCormick in one of my AR's and it has worked flawlessly. I haven't tried a Timney yet, I was waiting for them to work out their kinks. From what I hear, Timney has has worked them out but I havent got around to getting one yet.
