Anyone brave enough to give one a shot? Hell if theres someone local I would be willing to split the cost just to screw with it.

Have any of you ever seen a Vulcan ar in person?

I didn't even have to pick it up, it just LOOKED like shit.

And I mean from top to bottom, every piece looked like trash. It was very intriguing- for all the wrong reasons

Gotta love this:

the price is right but the warranty isn't.  seems vulcan is the 1 company rated worst than oly in here.

On the serious side:

The price sounds right. Can't wait to hear more detail about it.  Can't find any information on their website on the new piston upper design.

Is it similar to POF?

No, that honor goes to Spechul Wepons...

Toady and his many variations upon a theme which all lead back to a terrible fucking product.

It's truely legendary.   And the really fun part was watching him try to roll out his own adaptation of a piston based upper a few years ago.

Don't think I've ever laughed so hard in all my life as when a Toady appearance is spotted and quickly brought to the attention of the internet firearms community.   The picture taken of him being served at the SHOT show cannot be topped.

Oddly enough, my favorite weapon is my SW-5, a few HK/Vector parts later it runs 100%, it's steel killing machine at the IPSC side matches.  As always YMMV.  Jeff

Toad is pretty much the only game in the US for new Hk recievers.
From what I hear, if one buys them pre-bent, you can get a real good build using a good smith and HK parts.

This little bit really instills confidence:

"DO NOT USE RELOADED, REMANUFACTURED ALUMINUM CASED, STEEL CASED NON-SAAMI SPEC (+P) OR SURPLUS AMMUNITION!"

that rules out just about every type of ammo used by folks on these boards.

Buy Vulcan Arms!  Just don't shoot it!

You guys are all haters , just because you can't afford to buy the weapons
the Special Forces use you have to make fun of them.

These rifles must be the best made , or our Special Forces would not use them.

Breaking news is right !  Now where's their reply to the Chewie lower featured
elsewhere ??   C'mon guys...step up to the plate and give us the wondergun
that the special forces REALLY want.   The Chewbacca EBR with the fuzzy/furry
sliding butt, the underbarrel Gatling crossbow, and the side mounted Paxton
supercharger; made possible by today's high performance lubricants !
thought I saw one being tested in the field by a SEAL team, not far from
Roswell NM....honest !

Ummmm.........I think most of the weapons in use by "special farces" are regulated under the NFA (with the happy switch and all). So unless all of Vulcans weapons were made prior to May of 1986 and registered they are not legal. Oh and I'm pretty sure Chuck Norris didnt have a fake can welded to the end of his Mac 10 in Delta Force. What a fucking joke, but somebodys buying it.
