[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Nice AR build

I am thinking about doing a real nice AR build, I have
done lots of AK builds in the last few years, but am new to the AR world
So guys, I need some advice, what would be the best lower, ? Thinking of a
complete upper, heavy barrel, maybe mid length, for a little better gas system.

The quality of forged lowers is almost identical. It really depends on what rollmark you want on the side of the gun. POF and sundevil also have billet lowers, which look a little different than a traditional forged lower. However, for a very nice finished lower with a cool rollmark(IMO), MEGA is the ticket.
