| Can Someone please post pics of the several different types of sear blocks and ID what brand/model/years they are? Thanks! |
| I am thinking of getting a RLL and I'm wondering what receiver(s) would work with it. So far I have two late model Colts with the webbed sear block. I'd like to get either a Bushmaster or RRA receiver for the RLL if I decide that's what I want to do and if either of those receivers would be compatible. |
*most* receivers will work with an RLL; the high shelf/low shelf doesn't really matter with them. there are other dimensions that are critical with an LL. LWC lowers are the only ones i know of that are not compatible, and i only remember that from another discussion quite some time ago where a member pointed out a few small differences and i went home and looked at mine. i wouldn't worry too much about it though. any AR lower can be "fixed" so it will work just fine with a LL. if you have the $7,000+ for an RLL, spending an extra $75 to have you lower milled shouldn't be a deal breaker. |

You guys still don't get it. Blocking of a lower to prevent the use of a DIAS was not invented by Colt. The first blocked lowers were made by Olympic and Sendra by having non mil spec selector stops. Most AR companies block their lower is some way to prevent the use of a DIAS. |
