[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Chip McCormick Trigger pack question

Hi,

I am thinking about ordering a Chip McCormick trigger pack with a 3.5 pound trigger pull. I have two large pivot pin colt ar15 lowers and like the idea that I can move it back and forth from one lower to the other if I want to.

Anybody have experience\feedback they would like to share on how well the Chip McCormick trigger pack works before I shell out $179.00 plus S&H to get one?

Personally, I would wait for the new Geiselle 2-stage trigger that is supposed to come out soon for $150.

I have the Chip McCormic and am very pleased with it. However I doubt that you will want to be moving the parts back and forth between lowers. The pins are a very tight fit and come with the small circlips to hold them in. I don't think that you will want to be putting them on and off.
Have you considered the Timmy Trigger?
