How accuate are woa barrel's compared to douglas barrels, im in the process of making an spr and want to be able to hit a target at max 600m but the average shot will be 200-300m.  also does anyone know if larues billet upper uses m4 extensions or none at all and does anyone know if the woa 18 inch 1-7 twist barrel at the bottom right of adco's page uses a rifle length gas system or is it a mid?  http://www.adcofirearms.com/acc/ProductLine_.cfm?product_category=Barrels&subcategory=5.56%20Barrels

thanks

The WOA SPR barrel is as accurate as they come.  It is profiled to fit the OPS brake and collar, and comes in either rifle length, or mid-length gas ports.  Adco has both, but is usually out of stock on one or the other at any given time.

You can buy the LaRue billet upper with M4 feed-ramps from Global Tactical, but LaRue only sells the non-M4 version on his website.

I have an 18" WOA on my SPRish and I love it

(BHs 77 grain Sierra BTHP, 5 shot groups, 100 yards, bipod, magazine fed)

Add me to the list of satisfied White Oak owners. Used one of their stainless 18" SPR barrels on my 6.8 with a matched bolt and it is capable of accuracy I'll never be able to do.

Hmmm, I think I just found my new barrel...good to see they're shooting that well.

NICE groups up there.  I hope I'll be able to do the same when I re-barrel my rig.

Any recommendation for gas blocks?

Here is the target from the last 5 of the first 60 rounds through my White Oak 6.8 stainless match grade barrel. 75 yards, clear, no wind. Remington 115 gr OTM gold box match grade. Keep in mind my skills are not great, this a group that I can consistently get I have done better but do not count them as they are meerly flukes in my opinion and mean nothing.

The rifle it is fired from built by me:

Here is me and a friend shooting (friend on the trigger) at 640m. The target is a spraypaint can lid. Its a 18" WOA SPR barrel, the scope is a 2.5-8X36 Leupy. The bullet is a 60gr VMAX as its what we shoot the yotes with around here. Our average is 3 out of 5 shots hit. Its a great barrel at a great price.

Yeah, nice shooting Saryan..
I have a 18" ADCO built SPR upper, 1/7 with WOA barrel and love it also. 100yrd groups similiar to 'Glock 24's' off the bench with a bipod. Recently was able to shoot it out in the desert at 450 meter's supported by a range bag on the hood of a truck and had no problems hitting a jerry can one outta every two shots, was using a 10x Super Sniper scope. I assume better with a bipod on a more stable platform. Ammo was Black Hill's 77g BTHP, blue box.
Couldnt be happier with it's accuracy.

I have never owned a Douglas barrel, but I do own a few WOAs, and you'd have to be one hell of a shot for these barrels to be holding you back.
