Army did make a conversion kit.  Seen many on A2 but on some A4 also.  Uses a H6 buffer (about the weight of a standard rifle buffer).  H6 designed for full auto firing rate.  Saw these on their way to Iraq couple years ago.

I think it belonged to Uncle Sugar.

@RustedAce how'd you like the carbine stock kit on the A4, compared to the A4 with A2 stock?

I'm not really up on which light is what.....that is the earliest one?

I passed on one of those large ones at a garage sale years ago.  Complete in the packaging.  $50.

I guess I can finally contribute. Long time I've wanted an a4ish build, similar to my basic rifle. Brings back memories.

We talked about all these movies for like 2 pages in the block 1/1.5 thread. All greats, Hornets Nest, Restrepo, Battle for Marjah, Hurt Locker, etc...  Good times, lots of M4/A4 porn.

Matter of fact, going to watch it again.

Absolutely, I was couch ridden for several days and watched all of them again.  They just don’t get old.

The awesome thing about the M951 is you can get them sub 100 bucks on the EE. Might not even have to sell anything

Been wanting to build a A4 clone again (4th time) and was wondering what everyone thought of the PSA barrels. I can't find a FN or Colt A2 for a decent price. Been looking for months!

Now that I'm not in college anymore and have a real job, I won't have to sell it for school funds anymore!

I don't think it's torqued but it's that top edge bevel that gives that illusion.

Some will say that it's not correct, but as far as quality and availability goes it's hard to beat.
