How long have you had your SPR/M4 and what are you comparing it to?

Everone has their favorites, mine is the OPS INC 16th model for a 16" carbine.

AAC and gemtech are the only companies mentioned so far that actually list their prices.

measured from the bolt face with a 16" barrel the the 16th model makes it 22" OAL.  That is shorter than the Gemtech G5, AAC M42K, and the YHM Phantom.

huh, I guess I'm just used to my 10.5" with the KAC.

I think a OPs 12th model is going to be my next can for a "SPR" build.

DevL likes his AAC SPR/M4.  I sold it to him and I like AAC products myself.

Einstein has the OpsInc 16th and I transfered that to him.  He likes it a lot.

Somewhere toward the end of this video, there is some 5.56 cans.

Silencers atthe Liberty TX ARFCOM shoot.

The insect life is louder than some of the suppressed guns.

I've had it for a little over a month, I've shot it now for about 2 months. I also have a HALO. It's quieter in a direct comparison (barley audible but you can here the difference) and you get less gas back in the face. The mount is great, better than the Gemtech QD IMO, that's why I got the HALO.

I've never shot an OPS but have heard good things. I've only shot a few other 223 cans but I think the SPR is the best out of those.

Disclaimer I'm now biased toward AAC products. I never shot or saw one until a year ago and didn't like the "perceived" AAC business practices. After shooting some of their products I am a believer.
