Just got back from my AR's first trip to the range. My LMT was a lot more accurate than I thought it would be but the most supprising thing for me was the ammunition. I bought a 200 round brick of American Eagle 50 grain hollowpoint figuring it would be okay ammo to help break in a new rifle but nothing great. WOW was I wrong. At 100 yards (off the required bench damn range rules) I got 10 rounds just over and inch and a half. I was sighting in my ACOG as well so yes I was using a scope but most of my AR shooting has been in the military shooting with iron sights so for me at least the group seemed pretty tight. Anyway I get home and figured I would find a mess to clean up but when I broke the gun down it was a hell of a lot cleaner than I thought it would be. I knew the M855 I am used to is dirty but I never realized how dirty! I've been back about an hour now and cant wait to go shoot my AR some more. I think I have BRD
