For post 556, I decided I would share pictures of my current modest AR15's.
First here is an old pic. I sold the reflex 2 and the CAR stock. I made a mistake going away from the CQD sling mount. Also there is my A1 before got an upper. Used to run a Samson rail on my 16in, but decided that was overkill and went to the surefire.
Bushy Tax Time sale with all the SOPMOD style goodness. Up at top a GSE lower with CMT LPK and stock. Was out shooting a 2 foot round square plate at 565 yards with wolf ammo Sunday. Seemed almost too easy. TA01 NSN with rear BUIS removed. On a Larue mount Eotech 512 on Larue Mount(thinking about selling the mount, and using the Larue riser instead. Alumn Grippod, KAC Grip, M6.
Now special thanks to ROTCHOOAH for selling me this upper, and stock, because my A1 is my favorite rifle. I put an A2 font sight post in, perhaps later it will get an XS same plane. My friends think its weird that this is my favorite of my AR's. Also included is part of my next build. IDF style rifle.
CMMG Uppers and my 9mm Colt upper on a RRA lower with VM Hy-Tech mag adapter. With a Geissele trigger, this thing is awesome to shoot. While I love the look of the KAC sling mount adaptor, the sling swivels rub my hand and become painful. So next time I take it apart, the CQD is going back on and the KAC is going on the EE.
