I've got a CMMG upper and barrel, if you tell me where to look for distinguishing marks I might be able to help.

All I know is my upper is T-marked on top (not colored) and there is a "M" by the delta ring. There are no other markings on it

CMT upper receiver is the scuttlebutt I've heard, but who knows how true that is. All I know is that they are the best quality I've ever used & I'm not buying anything but CMMG from now on. Given the markings on my barrel, it's fair to say they prolly finish them in house from a blank? Inquire over at their page in the industry section & see if one their reps can advise.

Mine has a cardinal on it.  It's a little rough but it's ok.  When I ordered the next time I ask and they said they make them.  They were out of stock though so I ordered a CMT from Denny's and that sucker is much nicer.  Cleaner machining.

The barrels from what I hear are machined out of house but not sure of any other specs other than they are damn nice.  I am extremely pleased with both of mine.
