Not having seen this gun, friend of mine just bought a Colt and says its an SP1 but dose not have a forward assist?
It is also toped with a 3X Colt scope, I thought they were usually 4X?
Will get to see it tomarow but if anyone has any input on this please reply.

There are more SP1s without forward assist than with.

There are also both 3x and 4x Colt scopes available.  Ideally, it should say "Made in USA".

Sounds pretty normal...
