What kind of accuracy have you seen with your m4?

Has anyone seen 1 moa or less?

A month or two ago, a guy at the range let me shoot his bushmaster carbine.  I didn't fire it at standard target, but with a Eotech and a Aimpoint 3X magnifier, I could bust sporting clays a 100 yards, shooting two per second.  Bushmaster gets my accuracy seal of approval.

Closer to 2-3 moa, with EoTech, upgraded trigger and blasting ammo.

I have a Bushmaster with a 1/9" twist 14.5" barrel.  It used to have a Mini-Y Comp permanently attached.  With that, the best I could shoot with it was 3MOA.  Then I replaced the Y-Comp with a Vortex (Permanent) and I saw an accuracy gain.  Now it shoots 2MOA.  Not sure why, but my guess is that the Y-Comp wasn't machined as precisely as the Vortex and caused some disruption to the bullet as it passed through.

I've owned several bushys and they would all shoot sub moa (3 shot groups) with ammo the gun liked.  I'm  a real fan of how the bushys shoot.  2 weeks ago, my newest acquisition,a m4a3 shot 2 different 5 shot groups with open sights that were between 2"and 21/2" using AE 50g hps.  My eyes are not what they used to be and I am very pleased.  I can't wait to get the trigger cleaned up and throw some glass on this rifle to see what it's really capable of.

my freefloated 1/7 14.5 w/vortex easily shot under and inch at 50 yards with IMI 55 grainer's.

Never grouped it at 100, but you can do the math.  They're PLENTY accurate.

I've owned a half dozen BM barrels. All but one would shoot MOA 3 shot groups. Good enough for me.
