What kind of accuracy have you seen with your m4? Has anyone seen 1 moa or less? |
| A month or two ago, a guy at the range let me shoot his bushmaster carbine. I didn't fire it at standard target, but with a Eotech and a Aimpoint 3X magnifier, I could bust sporting clays a 100 yards, shooting two per second. Bushmaster gets my accuracy seal of approval. |
| I have a Bushmaster with a 1/9" twist 14.5" barrel. It used to have a Mini-Y Comp permanently attached. With that, the best I could shoot with it was 3MOA. Then I replaced the Y-Comp with a Vortex (Permanent) and I saw an accuracy gain. Now it shoots 2MOA. Not sure why, but my guess is that the Y-Comp wasn't machined as precisely as the Vortex and caused some disruption to the bullet as it passed through. |
| I've owned several bushys and they would all shoot sub moa (3 shot groups) with ammo the gun liked. I'm a real fan of how the bushys shoot. 2 weeks ago, my newest acquisition,a m4a3 shot 2 different 5 shot groups with open sights that were between 2"and 21/2" using AE 50g hps. My eyes are not what they used to be and I am very pleased. I can't wait to get the trigger cleaned up and throw some glass on this rifle to see what it's really capable of. |
