| I recently purchased a M&P15T and I am super excited. I want to buy a couple of more 30 rd mags for it and I was wandering what a good brand is. There are so many. I would like to keep the price around $15 each. Thanks |
Check out the magazine section of the site, there's a sticky with ratings of brands and other useful info. |
Me too, I ordered 10 mags, fast delivery. You'll have people dog C-Products, but I haven't had any problems, I'm very happy w/ mine. |

I've become a fan of the Magpul P-Mags going for around $14. Denny just posted he's getting more in tomorrow: http://ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=7&f=24&t=421946 I've bought some off of him & more from JTAC. Mags are high density polymer, with self-leveling followers, & have not had any function issues in my RRA Pro-Series Government carbine. Baseplates are also easily removeable for cleaning. |

I've had good luck with 30 rd mags of these brands: Colt (same company as Universal Industries/ Okay Industries/ NHMTG) D&H (same company as La Belle/ General Stamping) C Products stainless steel mags +1 Magpul PMAGs If you look at the noted brand ranking thread which they rated synthetic mags such as the Thermolds and Orlites not as good as USGI mags, but the Magpul PMAGs are a big step more superior than these old synthetic mags per the members that extensively tested them for Magpul. I'm going to get some PMAGs myself. Here's a tacked thread link in the AR-15 Magazines forum about brand rankings. FAQ: Mag Brand Rankings link |

Go to the mag board and look for the L. C. Ind link. They have O'Kay mags for $11.74 and I think that includes shipping. eta: buylci.com enter as guest, then a place comes up and you enter 1005009215004 this will take you to new O'Kay mags. Or best just click on the military line and then pick the 3rd page and look near bottom. Also have a lot of Black Hawk equipment. |
