I'm in the market for a new carbine. I currently have a 1971 vintage SP1 and want a new toy. Is anyone shooting the Fulton Armory? Considering it and RR.

I would get the Rock River. Fulton Armory IMHO really offers nothing special to justify the extra $$ they want for the same rifle other charge for less. Fulton is one of these small "boutique" AR15 rifle makers of late that have popped up trying to make an impression that they hand select or do something extra when they build the rifle to justify more money.

Their M-14 rifles are another story and are many times over worth the $$.

I had FA build me an M1A, I'd have them do it again.

Only had one problem with them and they sent out out the replacment parts the day before x-mas no charge.  told me to keep the current parts that were not to My standards.

I still give them my money for parts.

Bulding a .308 AR with their stripped lower receiver. Do not like their uppers, though.

I have a Fulton Predator Varmint rifle, really well out together and perfect function, finish is excellant.Paid 1090.00 for it which is cheaper than other manufacturers varmint rifles. It is accurate with the stock Fulton barrel shooting 1/2 inch groups all day long.
I think the Fulton's have a reputation for being high priced becauce of all the ways you can option them up,
Give one a try,I think you will really like it,Rich really cares about putting out a good rifle.

Sorry Hoot  BS

Clint McKee is the man do some research.  Their precision rifles are amazing.  Continue buying RR for more $$ actually.   This gives Clint and the gang more time to build my rifles.

Sorry chronium BS back at you!

Read the post. The guys original question is about a carbine rifle and not precision AR-15's. I am fully aware of what Clint does and have had done much business with him on my M1A and match Garands. I stand by my post to the original question about his CARBINES. Clint offers nothing special "gee wizz" wise that other top tier makers are making for less. It is sorta like buying coffee in that some people feel better paying $5 for a cup think they got better coffee when they just over paid $3-$4 in reality.

My bad Hoot.

I guess if you want plain ass AR15 they are not were you go.  If you want something badass call Fulton.   Good friend got their Predator model under .5 inch groups at 100 yards.  I am going to visit him and shoot the hell out it!!!!
