If you have had success with a chrome bolt/bolt carrier combination what brand/make is it? Also, how much easier is it to clean up when compared to a regular one? |
| I have used hard chrome plated BCG components from US G.I.(Colt?), Smith, DPMS, Young, and Baer. By far, the best is Young/Baer which are both actually make by Young. In my opinion, all are much easier to clean than the phosphated (black) parts. Also the Y/B carriers are slightly larger in diameter and fit the ID of most uppers a bit tighter resulting in less "slop". |
