Had a Rifle Carbine match. Used a BETA C-Mag. Round jammed (double fed) and could not get the C-Mag to eject. After two people tried to get it out with no luck, I was finally able to get it unstuck after continously beating the mag against a wooden pole. Cleared the double feed, put the C-Mag away in the pouch, used 30- Round US GI mags to finish the match. Lost the match of course, but in a SHTF scenario, would have probably lost much more. Sold the BETA C-Mag and never looked back. |
| For full auto work, they are fun and in my experience troublefree. Semi auto, I do not know that the extra weight would offset the added rouns available. If you are buying it for shits and giggles, have fun, but if you are wanting to use it on a serious use gun I would avoid them. |

I have used a Beta for sometimes now, it is one of the fastest way to burn up a good barrel. I love the drum but do not use it other then good ole range blasting. here is a clip of the Beta in action. 6MB Video File |
I think you might have attached the wrong clip those were just regular mags.

That's what I am curious about, yeah almost everything is fun at the range but spending $250 on something that may fail you when you need it the most isn't good. I bet thought that one of those things straped to an AR is the last thing anyone wants to see coming at them.
