I tried this in trouble shooting with no hits so...

I have a new Armalite with thier M4 style feedramps. Went to shoot it--loaded a mag, hit the bolt release, and the round tip stopped as it caught between the barrel extension and the lower reciever cuts. I finally got it to shoot a few mags but it would still jam periodically in the same place causing bullet set back into the cartridge. I tossed about 10 rounds out of 60 or so I shot.

Any suggestions?

My first guess would be your mag.  What are you using for mags, and have you tried different ones?

Just curious, but what type of ammo are you using? I noticed that my Armalite M-4 style upper was a little picky feeding Winchester 64 grain soft points until I put a couple hundred rds of FMJ through it. No problems since.  Also, are you able to see or feel any burrs or rough edges on the feedramps?

Tried with WWB, Radway, Guat, and ADCOM.

There does seem to be a little gap between the lower and the ramps.

ETA mags are Cproducts, and Colt
