I'm trying to remove my stock from my new ar but am having trouble with the screw attaching the fixed stock to the buffer tube. Anyone else have this problem? Here's the AR http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u102/johncorvin/Ar15-1.jpg

Got it from Acadamy, first time ever removing a stock.... I don't have an armorers wrench, just using a really big screw driver. Doesn't the armorers wrench have big screwdriver part for this?

big screw driver will work fine. The screw usually has some sort of thread locking compound on it. Just twist harder

Thanks for the relief, Just need that extra comfort to put some umph into it. Just didn't wan't to strip it or anything, which i almost did first try. That's when I decided to get a bigger screw driver. First AR so I'm want to be sure. Thank you
