I was just wondering if anybody knows what the stock trigger pull of a Bushy XM15 is or if theres anyway to tell.

Mine was right at 7# (measured) and very creepy, right out of the box.  Actually more gritty than creepy. Quickly replaced with aftermarket two-stage.

My BM was 10 lbs.
Quickly replaced also with aftermarket two-stage now it is about 4 lbs.

About 52 lbs.

My stock Bushmaster was around 7-8 lbs I think.  It's pretty damn heavy.

so i could assume mines anywhere from 7-10lbs, which brings me to my next question is 4lbs like a hairpin trigger or is there still a tad bit of resistance?

If it's a single stage trigger, you'll have a sudden break just like you do with the stock trigger, it'll just take a lot less weight to pull.

If it's a two stage trigger, you'll have a first stage of slack to take up before reaching a stop point.  Once you reach the stop, breaking that stop will make the rifle go bang.

I don't shoot competitively, but I think there is a 4.5# lower limit for certain if not all competitive shooting.  My two-stage Jewell triggers are adjustable with the action open for each stage and can be easily set by the user to whatever pull(s) are wanted.  My triggers are set at 4# total pull and I don't consider that to be a "hair trigger". The Jewell will go down low enough on the second stage to the point of being scary--ozs of pull. Some of the other good triggers available are pre-set to certain values.  A lot of negative posts this week on Timminey (Sp?) triggers. See "Troubleshooting"

I polished and shortened my Bushys' trigger pulls to about 5 lbs. and no creep or overtravel without buying new parts.
I don't recommend trying yourself unless you want to take the time to do the assemble and dissemble work to fit it correctly.
