Can any of you wardogs share with Gunny your experience with or knowledge of Del-Ton uppers? Specifically with their 11.5? I sent them an e-mail a few days ago that's gone unanswered, however, I'm willing to excuse that. Their site advises Wilson 1:9 twist, chrome-moly barrels which is what I'm looking for. Gov't contract mil spec upper receiver? Thanks in adcance for any intel you can provide!

They buy uppers from CMT, who supplies military contractors (Colt, FN).

CMT upper & chrome-moly Wilson barrel for $305 ($405- bolt carrier group). Too good to be true? I can't imagine those two products combined together having many issues. What do the rest of you killers think?

I've ran a Del-Ton built upper (16" gun though) through a Tactical Response carbine course and a Larry Vickers carbine course with 0 malfunctions. The gun is more accurate than I am.

Buy with confidence! Two complete uppers (20in and 14.5in) both shoot like champs.

+1 on Del-Ton here also. They are actually trying to get moved into a new facility at this time. You can always call them ... ask for Betty or Kassandra. These are good people.

same deal with Sherluk Marketing. 299 cerro forge upper with wilson barrel, maybe 110 more for BCG. check out there site. i have one in 16", love it.

Del-ton is good people. They seem to have a wide variety with a little bit of everything. You can put together a good rifle with many DPMS parts that would be very hard to beat price wise, and if you wanted you can step it up with all kinds of various upgrades. I like the wide variety of options they offer, and hope to get a rifle kit one of these days to finish the lowers I bought from them at the last fun show I was at.

I run a del ton upper with a dpms barrel. it is excellent ive never had a ftf or any other problem with it so far and del ton has excellent customer service i would definitely order from them again.
