[ARCHIVED THREAD] - My first AR...

Im about to purchase my first AR15. My choices will be between a Bushmaster M4 for $825 or a Rock River for $899. These guns are NEW and both include hard case, sling, and 30rnd mag.

First off, are these good prices and which is a better weapon? Have always heard good things about the Bushy, but i dont know anything on the Rock River.

Any and all input would be greatly appreciated!

Bushmaster. In my opinion, the upper makes the rifle and BM uses 4150.

But I can tell you, just like everyone else here, that you can not go wrong with either rifle. They are both solid, reliable weapons. Congrats on the purchase.

Not sure I think the Rocky is the Elite Car A4. thats about all I know. I bought a Taurus Millenium .45 today and saw the Rock River. I was going to get the Bushy until I saw the Rocky. No more than I know they are the same to me. Just wanted to know if $825/$899 was a good deal and if $75 more was worth it for the Rocky.

Bushmaster are all chromed lined barrel and chamber, also 4150 steel vs 4140 and cheap moly chrome lined.

This is a no brainer choice, Bushmaster and sin no more.

Izzy is the name of the suppressor on the BUSMASTER M4A3 w/14.5" barrell

I would go with the RRA. fit and finish is much better.
