...I got it. About a year ago I saw a Bushmaster M4 A-2 That intrigued me. I Bought it. One thing led to another and I now have way too many AR-15 type weapons in the safe. The other night my dogs cooked off and I went to GQ -- coyotes in the neighborhood have taken out several dogs and are decimating the Deer herd. I went to the safe, fumbled with the combination, pulled out my latest, greatest M4gery with all the neat stuff on it and loaded a 30 Round mag with unbelievably expensive ammunition. Twenty minutes later I stepped over the sleeping dogs and banged my way out the door. The weapon was heavy, unbalanced and awkward. As I came around the barn (in the dark) I clicked on the holographic site and saw -- nothing but a red circle and darkness. I went back in and spent 30 minutes putting away everything. Something wrong here.. Yesterday I dug out the M4A2, taped a TLR-1 on it and loaded a 20 round magazine with Q3131 and set it in a closet by the back door. Dogs cooked off again last night. Casually picked up the carbine and went outside. Flicked the light on (duct tape mount), saw coyotes and shot one. End of story.
So what did I learn? Well I NEED another AR, but with a special Recon Barrel, more rails, more gadgets, more of everything! And I thought I had it bad when I got the Sig Bug...

I thought you said your M4gery had all the neat stuff on it.  I don't know about you guys, but I think lights are sorta neat....
