Does anyone know how to get a flash hide off a barrel. I am trying to install a vortex flash. I can't seem to get the standard birdcage off real tight. Thanks

is it a 16" or longer barrel? Tough to get off if it's pinned.
No offense but terrible thread title. more specific ones will get you help quicker, plus search will allow it to be found by others.

You'll need a receiver block or barrel vise blocks to get it off. DON'T put your receiver or barrel directly in a vise, you'll ruin the receiver, and mar the crap out of your barrel.
