Hello besides stuffing paper in it what do you do to silence it?  In Iraq we used the cardboard method but it always fell out.

A strip or two of electrical tape along the receiver extension works well enough.

I'll get flammed for this but whatever, i think i actually heard it on this board... I took mine off, brought water to a low boil and carefully immersed it, while it was still hot, I tightened a C clamp on it slightly and left it there while it cooled. It tightened up very well, but it can still be easily adjusted.

I don't know about you getting flamed, but that sounds like a good idea to me! I might try that myself!
