Well, I did a search but didn't find any results, have you all seen this?

Very interesting, very cool...Worthless round.

I've played with the FN P90 and it was perhaps the funnest (is that really a word?) subgun I've ever shot.  But as a combat weapon, it wouldn't be high on my list.

In the role of PDW, I don't think the M1 Carbine has been bested.  It weigh's the same as the proposed NATO PDW's, but is more reliable, more accurate, more powerful, and easier to shoot.

Just my opinion.

I think it's an interesting concept but pretty much useless. I mean if you had easy/cheap access to 5.7 ammo and P90 mags... Or if you wanted every caliber/config of AR ever...

We were supposed to get one to test but many months past and nothing happened.

The p90 has its place as a subgun. Its round is great in that purpose. That being said its advantage is in a powerful cartridge in a very small package. This is the same size if not bigger than a m4 carbine. you can just use a 5.56 effecdtiveyly in this weapon. Ie there is no point for this weapon to even be in exsistance.

They need to devote more time to the system and its production, otherwise it will die as a concept.  The 5.7 craze seems to be withering slowly, and their upper is going to be without a market if they don't bump it up a notch.

well, I'm personally unfamiliar with the 5.7 round, does it differ that much from 5.56? I like the location/idea of having a 50 round mag, I don't like the idea of having to fill the 50 round mag with 50 rounds of EXPENSIVE/hard to find ammo

P90 mags are either 30 or 50 rounds.

Yea, I have heard about it months ago.

I guess if U already have a PS90 and an AR, its kinda kewl to buy the upper.

Haven't seen it on the market yet, however...

I think it is a fantastic idea and I hope Rhineland is successful in their venture.

Can you even buy 5.7 ammo in bulk?

In the same bullet weight (55gr) it's1/2 the speed of 5.56 from a similar length barrel.  IIRC in another thread I posted some values The 55gr muzzle velocity from a 5.7 P90 is like M193 from a M4 at well over 600 yards.

I think it is neat.......I think 50 rounds of 5.7 in an AR package would be fun.
